Once you begin using Searchasaurus, the Searchasaurus Map is the first screen that will display. The map is a screen containing all the reference materials that are available for you to search. Databases can be thought of as a collection of reference materials. Reference materials within a database may include: magazines, encyclopedias, newspapers, books and more. To begin searching, simply click on an island to select which database you want to search. For example, to search for information on "cats" you might click on the Encyclopedia of Animals island.
